The Children’s Department provide care for children from all over Munster with more than 95% of children attending CUH. We received funding for the long-awaited new CUH Children’s Hospital which is included in the HSE Capital Plan, and we expect that refurbishments will commence in 2020. Charitable funds have always formed part of our engagement with the Munster community to ensure we can have the best equipment in this new facility. While this is great news, we must continue to fund-raise to be able to provide the best care possible. Your support will enable the vital delivery of the following in the short-term which are urgent requirements:

• Purchasing vital new equipment.
• Refurbishment of the existing Children’s Wards.
• Refurbishment of the Paediatric Emergency Department.
